The third Croatia cruise covers south Croatia with it’s coastal region and islands. We are heading north from Dubrovnik towards the city of Hvar where we turn around and sail back.
We will meet in the harbor Gruz in Dubrovnik where our motor-sailors are moored.
The boarding time of this south Croatia cruise starts at 13:00 on every Sunday during summer. The first service on board is dinner.
South Croatia Cruise – Day 1 – Dubrovnik
Depending on your arrival time you will have time to explore Dubrovnik on the first day of south Croatia cruise. We are staying in Dubrovnik this first day so you can join our guided tour of the city or explore it on your own. In the evening we will have the first gathering as we all have dinner on board.
South Croatia Cruise – Day 2 – Korcula
Our south Croatia cruise starts as we sail towards the birthplace of famous Croatian explorer and merchant Marco Polo. There is a house on Marco Polo in Korcula which we recommend you to visit. Before arriving in fortified city of Korcula, we will moor in front of Lumbarda (part of Korcula) where we will enjoy in swimming and have a lunch on board. We will overnight in port of Korcula.
South Croatia Cruise – Day 3 – Hvar
From Korcula we sail towards the little island of Scedro where we will stop to enjoy in beautiful natural beauties and clear blue sea of this Croatia’s paradise. After the lunch on board we head towards the city of Hvar. In Hvar you can enjoy in cultural heritage or stay log in to the night in some of famous Hvar’s nightclubs or restaurants.
South Croatia Cruise – Day 4 – Trstenik
From Hvar we escape the civilization as we sail towards a little town of Trstenik on peninsula Peljesac. There are only 107 people inhabiting Trstenik. We will enjoy the day here in swimming and relaxing. There is a famous winery here of Grgic wine maker which we recommend you to visit. To wine lovers we certainly recommend to try this lovely Croatian wine.
South Croatia Cruise – Day 5 – Mljet
On the day five of our south Croatia cruise we sail towards Mljet National Park. Here you will have the opportunity to hike the trails of national park, see famous salt lakes or visit the monastery and abbey located on the island in the middle of large lake. You can also rent a small boat or a bike to roam around national park on your own.
South Croatia Cruise – Day 6 – Sipan
In the early morning we continue sailing towards Elafiti islands. Elafiti islands are a cluster or small islands located just west of Dubrovnik. Elafiti attract many tourists with their beautiful scenery, secluded bays and beautiful sandy beaches. You will have the entire day to enjoy in this paradise. We will overnight in Sipan which is the biggest of the Elafiti islands.
South Croatia Cruise – Day 7 – Dubrovnik
We end this Croatia cruise as we arrive in the Dubrovnik early in the morning. You will have the entire Saturday to enjoy in this pearl of the Adriatic. Walk down the famous Stradun street, visit museums, enjoy on the popular Dubrovnik beaches, try domestic cuisine in any number of restaurants and climb the walls of the city from where the view is breathtaking. We recommend doing the walls tour in the afternoon when the sun is starting to set. We spend the night in the port of this magical town and in the morning after the breakfast our South Croatia Cruise is officially over.
